Ivin has been with me for about 3 weeks now.
He came from a backyard breeder in Alabama. He is a white miniature Schnauzer.
They say he is about 10 years old.
He is darling. He loves to sit on your lap and be near you at all times.
Even though he had to have his teeth pulled, he has a very good appetite! He loves to eat!
I soak kibble in warm water and add a spoonful of canned dog food or cottage cheese or plain yogurt and he loves it.
I don't think he was taken outside to potty, so we have been working on that. He is getting very good. In the morning I take him in the backyard on a leash and he will go potty.
He is crated during the day when I am not home and he is fine with that.
He will willingly go in the crate at times when I am home just to take a nap.
He is a very low energy dog, and would be a wonderful companion for anyone that would like a dog but does not get outside very much.
How's he doing on the potty training? How is he with kids?
